Rolling Thunder® Ohio Chapter 2 members participated in the "All Ohio Chapter's Flag Day Demonstration Run to the State House" in Columbus, Ohio, on June 14, 2005.  This demonstration rally is the fourth demonstration rally held by Ohio Rolling Thunder® Chapters (albeit our 2004 demonstration rally had to be called off due to some tremendously bad weather).  Since the June 14th date did not fall on a weekend (was a working day for most of us) the turnout was not the kind of turnout that we've had in the past due to most of our members had to go to work.  Turnout, nonetheless, was very respectable.  As in past Flag Day Demonstration Runs, Ohio Chapter 8 member, Barb Corbett, along with her Chapter 8 members, put on an excellent demonstration.  The weather was great, the speakers were on point, and the demonstration went on without a hitch.  Chapter 5 has one of the best Color Guards of any Rolling Thunder® Chapter around.

What made this 2005 Flag Day Demonstration Run very special is that Barb Corbett was able to get Ms. Lynne "Jinx" Jenks, Vice President of our National Rolling Thunder® Chapter, to visit with us as well as speak at our demonstration rally.  Lynne did a great job and we all enjoyed meeting and speaking with her.  She's a great lady.

Congratulations to Barb Corbett and Ohio Chapter 8 members for another great demonstration rally.  We're all looking forward to the 2006 rally.

Flags were flying - the POW/MIA Flag was prominent for sure.

Members of Ohio Chapter 2 want to take this opportunity to give Barb many thanks and accolades for all the hard work she has placed on our annual "All Chapter Flag Day Demonstration Run to the State House."  Barb's efforts give us all an opportunity to be proud of our Rolling Thunder® Mission and our veteran activities.

Thanks again Barb - GREAT JOB AND WE'RE ALL PROUD OF YOU AND MEMBERS OF CHAPTER 8 for all you do for our veterans.

Woodie Henry, Chapter 2 member, rode his highly decorated bike.  This bike really stands out in the crowd.

Aaron Hill and Sammie Webb, Junior Members of Chapter 10, were very attentive to all the demonstration activities.  These are two smart youngsters and proud to be members of Rolling Thunder®.
